This reach around feel good b—s— is hilarious. The company you work for, APC, has just been absorbed into another company because of it's inability to generate profit. Plain and simple. So go ahead and buy into the OXY culture and 'getting things done' horse sh–. Good luck people.

Welcome to OXY for those that wish to stay. I think a lot of you will be surprised at how much you enjoy OXY. Culture is based less on rigorous process and more on getting things done. We reward outside thought and push for individual ideas to help drive the business units. Contrary to what many at APC may think, most OXY employees are excited and eager to work with you guys. It always had great people and before the current regime it was a great place to work.
It was a great company. Look at the bright side, they are clearing out the EC and most VP’s. Hopefully oxy’s are better.
