Thread regarding HP (Hewlett-Packard) layoffs

Admin keeps deleting posts about San Diego site closure

The page admins have recently deleted many new comments and posts. How much are they paid by HP? Anyways this may get deleted too. Many rumors ongoing about imminent closure of the San Diego site and of course layoffs. Any updates?

The San Diego site did have one of the worse engagement scores this year. Could it be due to this?

Please share what you are saying are new rumors. We are in a process of bringing in on site some multi million dollar equipment in prep for Drupa2020.

There are ways to delay disclosing to WARN but before I retired I could see much of SD moving out to other sites. No surprise here.

This site does remove lots of posts, not just in HP but many other companies too. Many with valid information, not just spam. Seen it happen.

As to the San Diego closure, if it happens or the layoffs happen, they should show up in the WARN list on the CA unemployment website. That list updates twice a month, usually after the 10th and the 25th of each month.
