Thread regarding Walmart layoffs

Some stores in my market are a mess.

Which is good for my store because all the attention is on the red stores.

Problem is stores in our market need help. So every store had to send 3-4 overnight associates plus an assistant with 3 associates to get a store ready for inventory.

So the other stores will go backwards because we're forced to send help. Ridiculous. We had a power outage on Sunday night. Pulled everything into walk in freezers and coolers and the two trailers we had sent to our store.

The next day we still had to send an assistant and 3 associates while the rest of us struggle to recover our store

I haven’t been into a Walmart in a few years. The stores started looking bad when they didn’t treat their associates like assets. A lot of the long term left. I’m pretty sure that was a home-office plan. As far as I’m concerned, they get what they pay for.
