my prediction for the 737 Max panned out, here's what's happens next; August Halting production for at least 60 days. Ungrade software and hardware, finally convinced the public and governments , We can trust again.
Justice Department and FBI will issue arrest warrants for ????? for those responsible safety and certification procedures , and how they marketed the new aircraft.

This poster was a little aggressive on timetable. There’s always the intention to hire and the execution of it actually working out.
Let’s see how the Boeing company does on this plan. I haven’t been to impressed with plans coming out of this company. It’s always pie in the sky with this group.
Your prediction was off lol. They are hiring hundreds of temps to help when the Max head back into the sky

New video from the CEO thanking us for all our work and saying how much need there will be in the future as the aviation industry grows. Good omen or bad omen?
Boeing can issue warn notices on any date it wants too. IT IS NOT MANDITORY TO GO BY THE SURPLUS SCHEDUALE. I got that from my HR generalist.
How do you call it a conspiracy when there is ample evidence to support the probability of warns grows with each day the plane doesn’t fly.
This forum is the f—ing nut house. Any predictions on the next group conspiracy after there are no warns by the 21st?
The Union wants to stoke fear as it provides ammunition to convince people to join. It is the only other group (besides politicians) that wish failure upon an organization for their own benefit.
What a farce!
I fear there will be wailing and knashing of teeth before this is all over.
If there is a simulation test failure, people on the production floor could not be able to know it. That is not true. That was the one that happened last month.
Please stop giving fake news. There will be no lay off, period. Don't try to scare the new employees by these "not true" news.
Isn’t it more evident something is not correlating to the ceo’s words about flying in Q4. Recently airlines are speaking out not confident in the timelines being pitched.
Calm before the storm, be ready this could go deep.
Someone at floor told me they failed a major simulation test 2 days ago. Anyone has any idea if it's true and what kind of test it was
THIS MEANS WAR!!!! 8/21/19. those in leadership in Jail next!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyone see an increase in write-ups?
- k. I give in. I agree the layoffs are going to happen.
Boeing is reluctant to admit how screwed up things really are on the 737 program. They are afraid the stock will tank if they are honest with us, and so many of their employees, especially management, hold a lot of Boeing stock in their investment and retirement portfolios. I bet some Sr Managers take golden parachutes in advance of the program being sc-apped, just to get out of dodge before the sh– really hits the fan there!
Still here dorks. U all know nothing just like Boeing.
Personally, I think people are just excited to get some "paid time off" from Boeing; it is a pretty harsh place to work.
Blah, Blah, Blah, layoffs are coming. Unless they k–l the MAX completely (which could happen) they CAN'T lay off the 737 line. When it comes back, it may not be October, but eventually it will, they NEED those people. It's a good thing they are too stupid to take their skills somewhere else. They will just sit at home and wait to s—le at the Boeing teat again.
Plus, due to seniority rules, Boeing can only lay off the young bucks that actually work. They can't touch those who are "retired in place"
They will come for the non union engineers, but if they do that, engineers will take their talents elsewhere and they won't come back.
The CEO laid out a perfect scenario with the correct math to begin issuing WARN’s at some point in August to shut the 737 line down in October. Read between the lines and do the math. Layoffs ARE coming within 2 weeks at most. Not to mention saving on the $5,000 bonus from people off the payroll. It’s written all over the walls.
1st warn notice 8/21

Layoffs for new hires start week before Labor day.
Today is not the cutoff. It is aug 21.
We will just have to wait to see what happens when/and if the fix comes in September. It is late to do layoffs via the 60 day WARN, with the current window is for end of October (for an August 60 day shutdown).
Today is the cutoff for a surplus announcement. IF none is announced, then most likely no late October layoff notices due to a 60 day WARN. This is highly unlikely, with over 900 job requisitions posted. Especially with mechanic, QA and electrician postings externally.
Think you're safe? I suggest you do some light reading (hint section 22.8 in the black book). Talk to a competent steward or union hall for clarification. I feel for you all in Renton, good luck.
Will bet any amount of money no one is ever arrested Lmao.
What evidence are you citing regarding production shut down? CEO was on talking about progress and being on time just today.
