Jan 2019: Boston consulting group came in and the 25 year old MBAs are driving management to fire staff apparently without concern for how the business will run without enough staff or experience. BBT culture is now destroyed. Morale is non existent and staff who remain will certainly be on the lookout for positions elsewhere as opportunities arise are other Banks. What goes around comes around.

I agree with last post. Next cascade as they like to call it will be announced next week so I have been told.
Was really hoping we'd get more info this week. This is so long and drawn out... Just rip the bandaid off already!
Did that include any announcements for Treasury or Deposits?
Made them yesterday
When will they be making announcements this week?
Another group of management chosen and again it is overwhelmingly Suntrust "Teammates". Baffling and I don't believe I've heard more BS in my life than what was spouted yesterday. Some of these people think the masses are complete id–ts.
So sad, all running scared now...all minions will try their best to be on the “saved” list.. like musical chairs... better find one before the music stops...
Some type of update coming Monday with confidential regional calls. Most are looking to get out before the hammer drops.
Have you noticed that smirk Kelly has in all his publicity photos, I was taught if you have nothing nice to say, don't say so I will leave you all fill in the blanks. The 3rd week in August, from what I hear, will be bad. I wish all of you the best of luck. For the most part, everyone contributing to this blog has been honest with a level of comradery, which the bank was based on. Sorry this is happening to what was the former "Best Bank in Town". God Bless!
That’s right BCG is walking them all the way through the merger process, and I agree with previous two post the culture is going fast if not already gone. I have seen to many long time, hardworking folks RIF’d and would not be surprised at all if I am next. So sad, wonder what John Allison’s thoughts are, as he always took care of the people.
Boston consulting is still in the background. They have also been at Suntrust helping designate the coming synergies. This company's culture will be unrecognizable soon if it is already not damaged beyond repair. It appears they are catering to a younger demographic for the future. Good luck with that and the work ethic they exhibit. Color me skeptical for the future of this company.
