New mgmnt beleives people not important, cut every benefit possible

To hear the lip service from Mgmnt about People are the most valuable asset, is a joke. They took over Feb 8th and here is a list that keeps on growing.

Let's put a list together of every ridiculous cut these new GUYS(members only club) have made.

Cut gym/health reimbursement, which was only a Max of $300 if you spent 600. They did not give a warning so you could use it before hand, you got an email on April 1st that it ended on March 30th.

They said based on the prior years performances no one should have gotten bonus. So you can basically forget about future bonuses.

No merit raises given this year.

Cafeteria subsidy was cut and cafeteria posted signs it was due to rising cost. I know that is a loe. Main meals up 15%, Soups/Soda up 25%, ill stop there.

Maternity leave slashed 4 months to 6 weeks. No communication about that of course.

Cutting some US finance jobs supporting Europe and moving it back to Europe. Cheaper cost.

Cutting people in finance during month end with no opportunity to transition knowledge to existing team members.

No more magazine subscriptions paid by company even though it helpsemployees keep up with industry news.

Health insurance enrollment should be a bloody nightmare for next year.

There is no communication from top level mgmnt to the entire team they support. Crickets and it's been 6 months.

I can honestly say, there is no good and enjoyment coming to this place anymore.
Stay far away.

Some people did get promoted though - mostly in Bird’s world. He’s the biggest con artist ever. Got that crazy valuation for NetProspex, survived the old D&B regime onslaught, hit it off with new guys and took care of his people and those that kiss his a–. You think an id–t like Rauker would be COO anywhere else??

You forgot big ones like cut severance packages in half. Or worse, apparently if you get cut for "performance", they try not to give you severance at all.

Someone should ask Steve Daffron how he has "performed" in his people sandwich and on number 6 of the company goals. They haven't done anything for their employees, despite them touting that some senior leaders got promoted, they've only taken away.

You are correct. Don't know what is more upsetting, the cuts or hearing about them secondhand. Who even knows if this business will be around in a few years. They will get their $ out, but what will be left. Next will be pension contributions. Toys r Us, Sears to name a few were all Private Equity. Glad we have this blog to share our experiences along with our frustrations.
