Forget a Strike. I saw a horse trailer down at the Hall. The B.A. is going to ride a white stallion , while wearing a suit of armor , in through the main gate and proclaim he’s saved us. Me-cynical? Just heard too much BS to think the talks will sell the contract.
Still waiting for this great union to put the company on 10 day notice. I’m sure we have a better chance for layoffs
Sorry but I seriously doubt if any of the current members are tough enough to really go through with a strike. None of them will risk having their $80k trucks repossessed. Too many live above their means, paycheck to paycheck. GE knows this. Those who strike will be begging for mercy after the first few days.
