So is the 60 days (i.e. 5-6 weeks) from notification to last day apart of your severance package?
For example, if someone worked there 10 years for 20 weeks severance, would after their last day they only get severance for 14-15 weeks?

People in my department were reading the new policy and thought the same thing.
There was another change aside from the calculation of the severance window but no one was 100 percent on what it was.
Did they also do away with the 300-500 payout for returning company equipment and reimbursement for commuter passes?
Agreed with the first comment. After 60 days that is when you'll start receiving severance
No. Severance start on last day of employment
