When the CBC started negotiations, we heard that the union “sledgehammer “ was going to deliver a contract that the membership deserved or they wouldn’t bring one back. What happened to that? Seems the “sledgehammer “ has become a puff ball with no understanding of what their respective locals want. Having to go back to locals to find out what their concerns shows a complete lack of your memberships needs. Maybe getting out of the hall once in awhile instead of just around election time would give you more insight into what the issues are on the floor. Put our dues to work and do your job. Remember, your elected, not appointed. Your “job” is on the line as well.

No sledgehammer with 4000 employees. Face it iue is in a load of trouble and the other unions want out!
My grandson has the same hammer. It makes a REALLY loud squeaking noise when you hit something with it. It seems that all the Hall has been for years is either the “mouse that roared” or in this case the “sledgehammer that squeaks”. It’s too bad they don’t grow a set and actually represent the rank and file as they should. I might actually retire believing in them once again.
