If so, was it a good move? I left WM a few years ago and need to do something with my acct.
I have almost ZERO confidence in its future.

Same as @1cfg - I moved it to Fidelity IRA - no issues, 10 min on the phone!
Keep in mind that no matter what type of investment you put it in, all of them are affected by the same market issues, either up or down.
You can rollover into an IRA fairly easily, though, you should research the pros and cons of letting it sit, rolling over into a new employer's 401k, or rolling it over into an IRA.
Went. To Edward Jones. Easy to do and less expensive maintenance fees.
EJ did all the work for me.
I left wmt in 2015
My current employer is with Fidelity Investment.
I moved all my wmt $$$ into a Fidelity IRA
It took about 10 min on the phone, they knew what they were doing, very professional.
No issues and would recommend
I kept mine with Merrill lynch. Even though I left the company they only charge 11.00 a year plus 1.25 maintenance per quarter if I remember correctly. It was much cheaper for me not to rollover to my new employer. The stock price has been stable and Merrill Lynch continues to good job for me, even with no contributions.
Absolutely. Contact Vanguard or another large brokerage fund to help you. I have vanguard and the returns have been great this year.
