The only real value Fry's has/had to me was a decent variety of items that you could pick up on a whim or an oh-ship type of situation.
Their pricing really isn't all that good considering some of the items being sold.
A lot of cheap Chinese c-ap, and I have always been amazed at how many people didn't realize they bought a refurbished TV or some other larger item until it was brought to their attention after the fact.
They claim to price match Amazon or whoever, but it almost impossible meet the requirements because they carry unique SKU numbers, usually referbs that almost no one would have.
