talk to employees who have been gone more than a year and I am sure they could give exactly what you are looking for - there are many of us out there! Do you Due Diligence and DIG!
I hate to tell your reporter person... it is not going to happen. If you still work at the company you will be fired for cause. (no severance and no unemployment) If you just got laid off, to get that severance they make you sign off on keeping your mouth shut or they take the money away.
