Thread regarding Sears layoffs

Two Things I Heard About Kmart....

Wondering if anyone can confirm or deny this. First is what I hear is that the rest of the "top" Kmarts are going to be converted into smaller Sears stores instead. Second, I heard that the Guam store being bought out by the Aussies was a false rumor. Anyone have info to support or disprove this please let me know.

There will be 112 Kmarts total if you factor in Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands and Guam. Of course, that could change at any time.

Another poster said less than 80 Kmart stores would remain by q1 2020. Seems the store base is shrinking quickly. How many Kmarts will exist after Dec. 15?

There was a guy who posted nothing but "layoffs at HE next week confirmed", and he was dead right, and the naysayers like yourself, probably yourself said, yeah right. The I heards are right more often than not these days. Unless you have evidence to the contrary, put up or shut up.
