Phone call? Meeting? Email?
I haven't been here that long so I have no idea what to expect - and I don't think I can handle another day of stressing over every mail and every phone call. I also think I'm vulnerable precisely because I haven't been here that long, so knowing what to expect would be nice.
I'd appreciate any info.
yep my 1:1 was moved from 10:30 am to 9:00 am on Monday. I knew then - hoping I was wrong

Watch out for your manager scheduling a last-minute meeting for early in the day the following day (like 9:30 am). When I was laid off last year, that’s what happened to me; plus, when I asked my manager about whether I should be worried about the invite/meeting, he lied TO MY FACE and said there was nothing to be worried about. SERIOUSLY. That being said, getting laid off from Staples was the BEST thing that could’ve happened to me. Not having to live with the anxiety of wondering whether I was going to get cut in the next round of Staples layoffs is priceless. Sorry for all those impacted by the latest rounds.
Most likely will cancel any meetings in the morning time, then will call you in an office before 10:30.

If you’re in an office it will be in person, if remote, then it will be a phone call.
My manager popped in my office at 9am and told me
If your manager / boss is in the same building it will be a meeting. Otherwise a phone call. Email is not the norm.
