C'mon who would by Staples from SP??? for real $'s? no way oh and we will be your land lord too!
Support staff at corporate. I heard lots of folks in IT. Sycamore partners is planning to take the company public, probably next year. This is the last phase, where they gut labor so the financials look good. It's what a management company does when they don't plan on sustainably managing the company into the future. The next group of management will find out Staples needs lots of employees to retain customer accounts.
