This board has become as toxic as the Intel Corp board used to be back when BK was non-stop, endlessly, quarterly, daily laying people off (and accepting a raise on the year he fired 11k people).

Anyone who has been written up is being fired. There is nothing you can do to save your job.

I feel bad for CDK. If you wanted to cut the fat, you should have done it the right way.

That sounds sad. A layoff should be handled better than that. That indicates the manager just isn’t skilled. Where is the professionalism?

Watch your back! They will lay you off out of NOWHERE!!! My boss called me into a conference room saying he wanted my feedback on a project, and then as soon as he shut the door, he laid me off! It was pure EVIL. There is a reason CDK Global is one of the 10 worst companies in the US to work for. Get out of there while you are still employed and have a paycheck!!! Horrible place to work.

Expect more staff reductions in January.

The market is hot. It's time. They are looking for cash now. The severances of the past are just that, of the past.

They try to make them a surprise for obvious reasons. A good policy if you're employed by CDK is to be prepared always. Keep your skills and resume up to date and be prepared to find something else before your severance runs out, assuming you get any.
