Please, let us pray that the news I received today isn’t true. I am currently as a director on an unspecified program at Renton, Wa on the troubled 737 Max program. I have been given guidance on the ‘X’ number of union employees that will be receiving a notice of involuntary termination as well as salaried first line management. These numbers are far worst than earlier anticipated through the first quarter. I wish to not be able to disseminate these orders from corporate, and pray to our lord for the best outcome possible. I could only hope for a better solution for our community here in the Puget Sound.

Directors are executives and held to NDAs. Are you in violation of that NDA by disclosing this info, or are you trying to create rumors?

I had a manager who for him English is a second language.
He was incoherent at best.
Out of his depth in the position he held.
This is not out of the norm for any large company.
Some managers at Boeing are Incompetent.

You won't see it until they are ready to issue the warns. According to these rumors 9/19.
Boeing would still be obligated to inform WA State Dept of Labor / Employment Security Department and put out a WARN notice 60 days before laying off. To date, I have yet to see this. On a side note, so glad to be out of that toxic company! The 787 program was quite the pressure cooker program to be working on, and everyone was throwing each other under the bus to save their own asses. Life is too short for that nonsense!

i can believe that. Think of the situation its dire.
I heard from a good source that the notices go out the last week of Sept and continue to year end. Its very sad that Boeing is doing this, especially at year end.
Only god knows the plan brothers and sisters. The plans are currently scheduled for the beginning of the fourth quarter
