I understand Minnesota work from home client support reps (AM's) are all being let go end of the month.
Anywhere else laying off work from home reps?

I'm not sure I would call them small offices. Naturally, not as big as Roseland, LaPalma, Chicago, etc., but Detroit, Minnesota, St Louis, etc., would have had a significant number of employees. I know East Coast had a number of smaller offices, so your point is taken. All would be considered small if you are creating mega centers. It might also depend if the center had National Accounts, or not.
Those small offices you listed were once viable and necessary. Technology has rendered them a drag on the business. It’s common sense really , albeit unfortunate for those affected.
Minnesota had an office until a little more than a year or two ago. They were part of a number of locations that were closed with the move to utilize the new super centers. It was sad to see Minneapolis, St Louis, Detroit, Cleveland, etc. all closed.
You are correct, some employees were home shored, but others were let go because they were home shored and there was now not an office for them to work from.
I'm not sure it is any better now, but what do I know? I was part of the group that was let go due to age and cost. Time will tell, as will new client sales and retention.
Did MN have a local office at some point?
Or was the office closed and they allowed homeshore opportunities to meet the business need until the OneADP centers were filled?
Just looking for all the facts to the claims presented. That's all.
Makes a lot of sense seeing they have to justify having so many buildings, preparing to sell. When new tenants visit the property, they need to have bodies-in-the-building to make them more attractive to buyers.
Yes, like homes. Vacant homes lessen the value and are easy for buyers to negotiate better prices. It's much easier to sell an attractive home, when it appears lived in. Makes perfect sense.
AM = Account Manager
That's right, ADP doesn't want its employees working from home any more.
All work from home employees will be asked to leave or work from an office at some point in the near future.
What are AM's? I work in a division that isn't letting go of home shored employees, but when one leaves, the replacement usually is assigned to an ADP office. Some positions won't becuase they're client facing.,
