Whatever it is, just to know what to do next. I'm tired of all the stressing.

Just plan for layoffs and then you will be in good shape. Frugality, save $$$ don't spend money you don't have to. Yes it is horrible waiting. Senior employees have dealt with this for years. Use Dave Ramsey principles and if you don't know what to do hire a money coach for help. You will have a lot more peace of mind if you are cautious and plan well. Let's hope the A/P - MAX gets flying and the layoffs of don't occur.
They don’t want to layoff because the job market is pretty good. They’ve somewhat learned that when the market is good, people generally give Boeing the finger when recalls happen. That’s why layoffs have been up in the air.
If there was an abundance of ‘skilled’ people they could hire, and the job market wasn’t as good, I think we would had already seen the layoffs start.
I would not put too much stock into what the media says until they say: Boeing announces layoffs, followed up by something from the union after the fact.
Until then, just keep plugging away, work some overtime, if available, and don’t make any large purchases.
You make your base rate on union unemployment, if you go back to school bennifits can be extended to 2years. Commissioners approved training may give even more bennifits. If I get layedoff I'm right next to the college so that is where I'd go finishing out a degree and become worth more $$$$$
I’m with you on that suspense is torture and tiringz
Don't get me wrong - I'm not wishing for layoffs to happen. But if they are coming our way I'd rather know right now.
