As hard as that may be for all of us to accept, we ‘re all in danger. Although sites like this one can be good for us to blow off some steam, thinking about getting laid off and worrying never helped anyone. I suggest we all update our resumes and start looking for other jobs, the sooner the better. It won’t be an easy road but I'm certain that all the good workers are going to make i in the end. Good luck to you all.

May the odds be ever in your favor!
As one of the ones who was RIF'd earlier this month, I'd emphasize both updating and polishing your resumes. I've put probably 75 hours into mine and it gets me 2 requests to interview for every 3 I send out. When I go outside the tech industry, the ratio falls to 1 in 3, which is still pretty good.
Business as usual dude !
If you found this job , you will find another - It does not matter you will be laid off or not.
There is NO sooner the better. When you get laid you get paid , when you get paid you have enough time to think , plan , decide - BUT ! who knows ? you may stay and be a successful Broadcom worker.
Be Positive in life ! that all i can advice and don't listen to negativity , like find a job as soon as possible , hurry up ..... all these are factors of some guys pain. see some NEGATIVE comments following this one , you will understand - Good luck ALL !
