Thread regarding Nestle layoffs

Notice

Anyone get a notice yet or have a clue when they will be coming. I’m ready for my cash and to move on. I will miss this place but it’s time to move on.

Put my 2 weeks notice in 2 weeks ago and got my 60 day notice the next day 🙄 It was a great job for the past 15 years but time to move on....wanted to wait for severance but a job opportunity presented itself that I couldnt pass up!

First, you guys cry your eyes out about being laid off. Now, crying about wanting your 60 day notice. Just work until you get it. Start your job search, if that’s part of your plan and be thankful you have a paycheck coming in right now.

I’m thinking almost everyone will get there notice the first wave. Only a few will even make it until the end of November.

Yeah - My guesstimate was lay-off meeting May 3rd, 6 months later- November 3rd -last day.
60 day notices given out, September 3rd. I can’t wait to get out of here either.
I feel like I’m trying to escape a burning house but my shirt is caught on the front door -

We were informed today of all of our last delivery days for each account. Not 60 day notice exactly but a good timeframe. Very last ice cream delivery being Nov 4th. But they said some would stay on for an additional week or two basically going around doing more NROC style tasks. My guess is that it would be just the sales reps left for that and merchandisers would be done on the 4th. So we should be expecting 60 day notices by the end of next week or very latest the following week.

Obviously depends on the area, but im guessing the ones for those who didnt do early opt out or rapid response , will start right after labor day. I think there will only be a small percentage if frontline dsd left after nov7. Nov 1 is the date im planning on.
