severance and cobra coverage

anyone that was displaced in june have you received your severance package ? if so when? is it thru mail or email?

does anyone know about cobra coverage for medical insurance? would it be the same coverage as current plan?

@ftp You're mathematically challenged. Perhaps a family member was under going chemotherapy for cancer and got laid off. COBRA would be the cheaper alternative than paying out of pocket for the continued treatments.

How about putting yourself in another's shoes because putting your foot into your mouth.

I hate to say this, as I hate welfare, but you're better off applying for a Gov't. medical card. That's how the system is set up now.

Those with no income who sign-up for COBRA (currently $1,660 a month for a family) are mathematically challenged.
