I worked at Qualcomm (1998-2013) when Irwin liked to keep the stock $30-$60. Today the execs are just trying to keep it from tanking below $30 .. again ... and they hav been working on this for the past SIX years ...

Stock splitting is completely out of style - especially with tech companies. Maybe Amazon will do a 100:1 split.
Companies care little about retail investors these days that may be sensitive to share price.
