Thread regarding Fry's Electronics layoffs

Arlington TX and Irving TX

I have been to the Arlington TX and Irving TX Fry's in the last 2 weeks to find a work monitor and a few MISC items. So sad, maybe 20% of the store has merchandise.

They might as well have their next Friday add be a big store closure sale and quickly get rid of their merchandise instead of dragging out their costs any longer. All employees remaining know the end is near - rip off the bandaid for Pete's sake.

At this point, I would only buy a product from Fry's unless it was around 35% off or more, expecting returns to not happen.

Visited the Garland and Plano on Sat, both stores practically had no customers. Essentially there were very few to none of motherboards, video cards, hard drives, keyboards, mice, or WiFi routers. Back stock areas were completely empty. They did have plenty of pallets of Aquafina water and Pepsi products out on the floor. Oh and the as seen on tv and fake perfume isle were stocked up. I’m not sure why they just don’t shut down and liquidate at this point.
