yes, quiet layoffs taking place now and will increase after numbers announcement. Trying to do a little at a time to go under the radar. Also happening in India but there are so many people leaving on their own they had to let go slightly less.

I know at least one QA manager that was let go along with some product managers in Melville.
No lay-off in India (software) or Melville (software and management ) management is considered critical and will not be affected (directors and managers)

Yup....even less planning for this one than project "Z". This one was done out of sheer panic after seeing how july ended.....
