I'm one of the people that got hit in one of the lay off waves. I've since found employment elsewhere but not for the better. What companies have ex-Westys managed to land at next after being laid off or proactively found before it happened to them? So many companies seem to want experience specific to their industry now a days it's been hard to find companies to transition to. Also, did you end up staying in your city or moving to another better job market too?

RIF’d 6/19/2019 sill looking as companies want tailored tight fit candidates with specific skill set matches.
Several Longmont employees have landed at Intelliquent.
Sorry to hear you were laid off and have had a hard time finding a good opportunity. I've been fortunate to have options. I think it depends heavily on what type of work you've been doing. Some types of roles lean heavily on domain experience & knowledge, while others lean more towards broader skillsets that can adapt to the domain. Relocation might be necessary if you're in roles that demand domain experience but those employers are not concentrated where you currently live. It's tough.
