Thread regarding Boeing Co. layoffs

Form instead of content

I imagine f a person would look at Boeing from the outside it would look like a successful and stable company where work processes are developed and practiced to the highest level. To bad the truth is quite opposite. I’m working as a software engineer, relatively new to the company and to tell you the truth never have I seen a company that has the projects and work set up with a goal to satisfy the ego of managers, rather than producing any new value. No wonder the turnover rate is at it’s high, which naturally has an impact on the work. From what I see, the management mot is: there the right way, and there’s my way. We’re gonna do things my way. If this game of putting ego in front of development goes on, I’m afraid it’s going to have a devastating impact on the company in the long run. Things stand like that from my point of view, so I was wondering are people noticing the same thing at other parts of the company?
