What if you have had a PIP forced on you by some unfair manager who was mistreating you?
I asked for a transfer from this group to get away from this unethical manager who was mistreating me but it was denied by HR. Several coworkers in this group had witnessed the mistreatment this manager did to me but no one was brave enough to speak up due to the retaliation that would have fallen on them by the manager.

Targeting for layoff goes on a strictly alphabetical order in this case: so- CAMs first, then PIPs.
