Thread regarding Boeing Co. layoffs

The Layoffs discussion is all about the possibility of laying off Boeing Engineers and Mechanics only

Why are Boeing Vice Presidents, Executives, Managers, Human Resource types and the Boeing CEO excluded from the possibility of being layed off?

The Boeing manager that leads (this manager is no leader) our Group is away from our group all week long. The manager is in useless meetings every day of the week. We may see our manager maybe one day out of every two months. So our group actually functions without this manager. So why aren't Boeing managers like these types not being targeted for layoffs?

"Very unique and brave take wow. Personally I think uneducated union paycheck collectors should run the company entirely. "

So which one are you? The HR or the self important Manager who thinks their walking in the door has had a huge impact on Boeing?

Cronyism is the practice of partiality in awarding jobs and other advantages to friends or trusted colleagues, especially in politics and between politicians and supportive organizations. For instance, this includes appointing "cronies" to positions of authority, regardless of their qualifications
