Well that seems to be resolved.....? Close SA office next?
Why can't the CFO and all his BP buddies on the executive level mutiny and get rid of the two people wasting billions of dollars on magic beans?
They went from trying to be transparent to total secrecy. By all means be phony until the end, while destroying the company. But by all means throw money at the Astros.
The end is near. The CFO and all his BP buddies on the executive level are structuring for a buy out.
Layoffs are coming soon so hold on. Bet they cut 25-30% before Thanksgiving.
Moneys on a buyout announcement in December after results from Suriname are announced. Either that or we are filling chapter 11
And it continues to be. The leadership of that office has beguiled the board of directors into believing that only "San Antonio" knows about hydrocarbon exploration and that all other resources, whether inside or outside of the company, know nothing. Was anyone from the Apache San Antonio office allowed to attend the SEG annual meeting (held in San Antonio)? Why would they? They already know more than the collective intellect of the entire oil industry. They have no equals! There are no layoffs coming, only bankruptcy. It's a sad commentary on a once great company.
The continually increasing trust placed in San Antonio leadership (everyone should know of whom I speak) has easily been the worst set of decisions made by the Apache executive team. Alpine, and NAUR in general, was completely unnecessary for APA to thrive. And clearly their creation has resulted in a drastic destruction of value.
