I was part of a purge of roughly 60 salaried employee's in 2016. Nearly each person was over 50, about a third over 60 and/or had some illness issues such as cancer. When I think of Kellogg, I get sick and angry. Especially because this wasn't just a headcount reduction, they sought to replace older employees with young talent.

I was another victim of the age targeted purge that year as Kellogg pursued a younger workforce. They also offshored many jobs to India and the Phillipines working with consulting firms like Accenture. I often wonder how well that worked out for them. It apparently did not work out well for John Bryant.
don't worry, Kelloggs will hire someone dopey kid straight out of college.
