Still have 21 VPs. Need to cut. Can start with W-H, id–t that came over from marathon, claimed to be expert in STACK, sh*t the bed on well spacing.

"door has been closed since the window washers went on a roller coaster ride"
ouch. That's almost explicitly referring to this:

Pennzoil E&P was acquired by Devon back in 1999.
Anon94 you been living under a rock? The door has been closed since the window washers went on a roller coaster ride
My sense is that in the L N days, Devon knew what kind of company it was and since the transition to J R (and now to JH) Devon can’t figure out what kind of company they are or what they want to be. What is their true competitive differentiator? Once they understand that, they can build their executives, staff, assets, and technology around that. It may be too late. There might not be a competitive differentiator anymore. One thing is for sure, they are a hollowed out shell of what they used to be. I was in the lobby a few weeks ago at 7:45am and no one was at Nebu or Aravalli. No people in the lobby at all. The collaboration and fun seems to be gone. They might as well close Nebu and Aravalli. What’s up with the fencing around the Sheridan entrance?
It’s not the number of “leaders” it’s the quality of those that sit in the chairs and act like leaders. Never seen a more secretive “club” than this gang of VPs and up.
I think our leadership has been decimated enough. Get rid of all the decision makers and it is a quick ride to liquidation.
lol 21. You need to pump those numbers up, those are rookie numbers. The independent I work for is smaller than DVN and we have over twice as many VPs. Though I agree that 21 is far too many, anyway.
