Fry's City Of Industry a Ghost Town with No Inventory

Went in there Saturday afternoon and wow.....the entire parking lot was empty other than employee cars. I could have sworn there was a tumble weed blowing around in the store it was so empty. The employees just wandering around like Zombies with no customers to help or products to even stock. It was like a crew of people just trying to babysit a building and hope nothing disappears.

Fry's used to have lines to get in and you'd wait 10-15 minutes in line just to pay. Now it's depressing how far they have fallen.

Yes Fry's online website confirms they never have most things they say they carry, they are always out of stock. No since shopping there anymore because they don't carry anything anymore.

Chinese suppliers make up 70-80 percent of Walmart's merchandise. Walmart is not closing down and cutting employees hours.

I have been loving and shopping at Frys since shopping at the original store in San Jose back in the early 80s. A friend and I visited the Austin, TX store on Saturday and found the same ghost town feel. It was an uncomfortable feeling, and downright sad. I hope they do survive, but seeing as about 90% of their products come from China, the crazy tariff trade war has got to be playing hell on Frys supply chain and bottom line.

Same at the Sacramento store. They are not stocking anymore. Shelves are empty and employees have no idea what's going on.
