Will any of the VPs, HR directors etc stand up for their employees in this town hall meeting, they still can fight for you, there is still time to avoid these senseless layoffs.

Nothing wrong with NG midstream business, exports are up, utilities are demanding more NG and more cracker plants are likely in NE. Producers are hurting though due to low prices. This is a planning and resource allocation issue. I can see voluntary retirements, transfers and hiring freezes.
Stand up for ....????? The economics aren’t there to support this large of a workforce. It is how business works. It’s pretty compassionate that they started by incentivizing people versus a RIF. Our VPs and GMs here in the NE are a lot to blame Ever since they came from the west they have been building kingdoms to get their “VP crown”. There are already central groups doing a lot of the stuff.
They will try to do their best, however if it is anything like 2016,
you can expect some cut backs. It’s all about projections, costs and project loads. It’s unfortunate.
