Anyone knows about the fate on engineers in the Mountain View Office ?

Anyone knows about the fate on engineers in the Mountain View Office ? Especially for people who hold visas this situation is really uncertain.

Broadcom will consolidate offices. If any office looses the majority of employees, they will move the remaining employess to the nearest Broadcom office. They are happy to leave office space empty to avoid paying the maintenance costs. They don't care if your office is nice, or is actual Symantec property, or anything like that.

For example, in the UK they closed ALL former CA offices within 6 months, and everyone that remained was moved to one office.

Also, Hok Tan wants all his employees to go to an office, as he, in his words, does not want to pay for office space that is not being used.

Thats not what I've heard.. Those in enterprise will likely have to relocate to broadcom offices e.g. San Jose

They are going to keep the office and most of the devs. Some devs will go. It depends on what you are doing. All core devs will stay
