Not that I want to invoke that, but I haven't heard about any form of organized layoffs for a while. Are they not happening, or are they just under the radar?

Actually you are wrong, they did let go a my of a lot of people from their ethics section of the company, I know cause someone I know was let go out of that section

@ imq: Did you forget about the massive layoff of pharmacy employees and all the long term employees on the Sam's side including the audit team, receiving, claims, PTC's, marketing, and accounting? Not to mention the 200 they lost in the Ethics department at the home office? Not that this company would actually use the services of anybody who would dare to advise them to act ethically, but the little used and severely underworked staff in that department was still laid off.
No. That whole aspect of this page has been violently milked to death. The only lay offs at all were from last year, with the co managers being hit. I'm gonna get 100 dislikes for saying this, but it's true.
