Yes, we have received a $1500 dollar payment in Greenville. Interestingly, at Greenville, the words union, contract, or ratification are carefully avoided. It is not referred to as a "ratification bonus", but rather a "special recognition payment." It seems to be very important that the hourly ranks never associate their compensation packages with union activity. People must be kept in the dark. As a 25+ year employee at Greenville, I understand that the compensation packages that have enabled me to live comfortably and provide for my family have come as a result of union negotiated contracts. That is a fact that I understand and appreciate. I believe that more people here in the south are beginning to understand this as well.
Hmmmmmm. Seems like Greenville is more willing to work with GE than Schenectady. Sure would be funny is their workload increased and Schenectady’s decreased.
Nice, but I like working for my money! 12 hrs time and half and 12 hrs double time = $1800.00 loving life up here in beautiful NY. And we're hiring come on up if you're in the skilled trades you're guaranteed job!!
Headed up to the lake later for a cook out come on over. Steak dinner is on me !!
Greenville. Did everyone else get their $1500?
Good for you, use it for a new pair of kneepads.
If you're a D-Rate, you better be careful with using the term "Sellout"! No group of GE employees in the history of GE has ever sold out harder than the D-Rates. The first generation to EVER make it worse for the next upcoming generation!!
Grenville or ny?
Sellout. Can't stand United. So your $1500 bloodmoney comes out to be what $700-750. Pathetic
Number one. I'm not trying to start rumors. Just curious is all. Number 2. I don't have a shop steward. Number 3. You can smd and Kma!
Why dont you ask your shop steward first instead of trying to start rumors? Thats not good for anyone!
Congratulations!!
