Anyone know the body count from the massive reorg ? I'm assuming it's not just shuffling folks around so that customers have a seamless experience.

My brother once worked a holiday season for them as a cart pusher; was promised 'full time status later if you shine bright now'. So he busted himself out, keeping that lot clear of carts. often by himself, to the point of being injured. EVEN SO he worked through that, never made a workman's comp claim nor even took time off..........and guess what they did to him first week of January? 'Welllll, you were only seasonal, sooo.....BYE'.
That was 15 years ago and he hasn't shopped for –literally– anything from Walmart since. Back then the prices were still the lowest, and people thought he was stupid for ignoring that. I reminded them: 'There's nothing stupid about standing on principle. I will always spend extra to preserve that.'
The body count will eventually be most of us. When you lose your job, don't buy your stuff from this God forsaken company. It has the morals of the Ta----n. I just bought my Costco membership today and have an Amazon Prime account. Throw in Aldi, Target, and Trader Joe's and who needs WalMart?
Not me!
