Teradata under the leadership of VL and OR has taken a good company and ruined it. Both these guys should be taken to court. The employees who worked in TD for years dedicating themselves to the company got screwed royally by these id–ts. GDC was always a joke under the leadership of RR... she saw the writing on the wall and ran away.. she got a nice job in sales... She was a misfit to run the GDC anyway. The new leader is the interim leader and he is the worst of all. What do you expect from GDC resources when you don't have projects? Off course people are going to leave. Anyway the management doesn't have any loyalty to anyone so don't expect GDC to survive the cuts. Longer term I don't expect Professional Services to survive. Look at the leadership here in US? Blind leading the deaf... MB ran away I guess he couldn't take it anymore and went to AWS. The once remaining in US lack any technical skills and can't be hired by anyone .. the worst lot ever. When you run the company with conflict of interest this is what happens. OR is an opportunistic guy all his life.. all you have to do is follow his resume on Linkedin and you will know the history..Good luck hunting jobs everyone.
In GDC India, people are leaving in bunches every week. Hiring has stopped. No one knows what is happening. There is no transparency. Uplevel is just a buzz word for GDC. GDC India head disappeared 4 weeks ago. No one wants to work in this sh–hole.
Make sure you get paid in the severance. The going rates are something like 3-6weeks pay per year of service depending on your location. Make em PAY!!

Same here had 30 min call with HR today. I’m OK ready for retirement.
Good luck. You should be able to land something quickly that market is very strong. Hopefully this is a blessing in disguise. This thing is a hollow shell of what it once was. Hope you completed your employee survey!
