Networking is your greatest resource. I didn't find another job until someone else referred me. It's very hard to get into a company from the ground floor.
Also, depending on your field it helps greatly to refresh your skills and learn new ones, especially if the skills you are currently using at West don't transfer outside of the company or are incredibly antiquated.
