What would be the benefit of becoming emergency help?

Hopefully not by seniority, that’s what screwed this whole program up, from my view in the area I’m from.

Probably talking about the Rapid Response Team. Our DSL asked us all yesterday if we would like to opt in to potentially joining this team if our routes get cut early on. Basically, you could be selected to join this team that they will send to areas around the country to provide extra help if they are understaffed and can't keep up with workload until the end. It's not guaranteed you'll even get picked, said there are "performance criteria" that must be met. Which in Nestle I'm sure translates to seniority since they've never really cared about job performance, only your years worked. The benefit would be extending your time with the company as long as possible.
