Sysco laid off several food safety program managers last week. They are combining some locations with one manager over seeing 2 locations. Not sure how many in total but my best guess is over a dozen throughout the country.

Sysco laid off their Food Safety positions because theyre no longer under the FDAs radar since their SF incident. Pretty sure they will go back to just one regional food safety contact in the years to come.
