Growing up as a kid, Fry’s was always the place I would go for Electronics... and as a Blu-Ray/4K disc collector, Fry’s was where I would always go to get the newest Blu-Ray/4K disc releases, since they would always have it for the lowest price compared to Best Buy and Target. I used to always go to the Fry’s in Fountain Valley for pretty much everything... until now. Going there now, and seeing the Bose display gone, most of the backstocks are practically empty, every other aisle has bare shelves, and the Blu-Ray aisle getting smaller and more empty every time I go down there (just to name a few) makes me sad. As much as it pains me to say it, Fry’s is dead. I’m predicting that by the beginning of next year, Fry’s will be gone, forever. I will continue to support them for as long as I can, and I will surely miss Fry’s so much when it’s gone.

Just got out of FV store. You're right, things are emptying out badly. They have dozens of TVs just lined up with NO prices. Items that should cost around $15 (as per many online sources) run $100+. Brick and mortar is dying and it really s—s.
Same scene in the Fishers Indiana location. Really strange to stop replenishment without some sort of closing announcement. I could always tell they were run very poorly and lacked strategic insight on what to invest in...prime example is the website.
And who on earth were there Merchandisers? I mean as recent as 1 year ago, the Phoenix AZ location still had a p–n section in the DVD aisle!
I just went there today and was pretty shocked. The last time I went to Frys was about 6 months ago and the FV location was fairly busy with a full inventory. Its amazing how quickly things can change.
There were only a dozen cars in the lot and a skeleton crew 'working' the floor. Most were just talking among themselves. The most bizarre experience was the lack of merchandise. A good 60% of the shelves were bare. Go try to find a decent mouse and you'll only see cheap transformers inspired gaming mice and only three or so models.
I spoke with a few employees who mentioned that they were not sure if the store will close as their management haven't told them. I wonder if the managers even know what is going on.
Pretty depressing to say the least... At least the good news for those in Orange County is we have Microcenter around and that store seems healthy (it better stay that way). Worst case, there is Newegg/Amazon. Plus, Newegg has willcall pickup in their City of Industry location.
Agreed
Looks sad
