This once rock solid company is clearly having issues. The stock has been a real dud as of late and have to wonder what is being done about it other than leadership speak of playbooks and superior execution. Cutting lower level positions will temporarily look like a cost savings tactic but every time this is done, valuable knowledge walks out the door with no one ready to pick it up. 3M has done this every time their business softens and the ramifications of doing so are now evident.
