You need to give the CEO a break. Any young CEO will look back on his career and, if he’s honest, will admit he made mistakes. That’s the risk of recruiting a young CEO. And perhaps he inherited some things that he wasn’t responsible for.

Had to post this as soon as I could. Just had a cup of coffee with my supervisor. She subtly asked would I forgo a raise to keep layoffs from happening. I said “No”. I need a raise with my new child. So a raise or layoff?

Giving the CEO of SWN an entrepreneur award is like giving a Cub Scout a war medal. The CEO has to wonder why, and feel insulted. It would make sense if SWN was better managed.

From all indicators, the day after our August 7th earnings call is primed for next round of layoffs. Have seen managers prepare for our next round of pink slips or “retirements”!
