Yes. I heard that the people that were let go last year only got 6 month of paid cobra benefits. Half of what they provided to employees, if people decided to take the voluntary package.
To the people that still employed by Lenovo. Look for another job while you can. It is a lot easier to find another job while you are getting an income than looking for a job while you are spending savings and severance.
Lenovo is done for and those jobs are not coming back.
The package is being reduced. Probably good you took the voluntary.
Man... this looks really bad. I am glad that I am approaching my two year anniversary of my departure... Took the voluntary package to leave.
I hear at least one whole department in DCG including first and second line manager will get hit. No info on which one.
