Was told not to order any Tuesday orders at all, and if we had already made any, to zero them out. Tuesday is a non working day supposedly. Not sure about when we write the orders we normally write on a Tuesday, but I'm not losing sleep over it. If a couple stores sit a little light on product, then that's the way it is.

Maybe I should go in tomorrow and delete all of Tuesday’s orders just Incase we still work the rest of the week. I don’t need the pallets taking up space

I’m just saying no matter what happened in the past, were all equally screwed now pizza or ice cream guy. Aren't you sick of the back and forth over the last 9 years. Ya pizza had it better with kraft but we had it better also. We both got screwed in all this. Not trying to talk c-ap, just nothing changes what will happen Tuesday based on the past. Who knows what shirt we will wear next!

I’m about sick of this! Nestle needs to grow some damn balls and tell it’s employees what’s going on now! I know they don’t give two sh--s about us, butt we all have families to support. The stress is unreal. Hey Pete Schmidt, stop hiding and at least tell your area if we still have jobs!

This is just so frustrating. They don't care at all that their employees and their families are stressed out and freaking out. The job market is not great in our area.

You pizza guys need to settle down!! That was so long ago worry about what happens Tuesday and not how wonderful Kraft was before ice cream. It’s so annoying to hear that all the time!

Kraft didn’t fail bozo , Nestle made then a offer they could not turn down and the shareholders approve the sale for 3.7 billion dollars. Nestle bought the pizza division to try to save their unprofitable ice cream business and obviously that hasn’t turned out well . Kraft DSD ran at a 13%-17% cost to sales compared to Nestle at 23%-28%. I seriously doubt that Nestle has recoup 3.7 billion in nine years and have lost market share and sales volume ever year on pizza and ice cream because of their DSD network structure. Great executive leadership!!!

I have worked for a few different DSD companies and I have never seen somewhere make it as complicated as Nestle does. DSD is a fairly simply business and the higher ups are constantly making changes that they think may make it more efficient which we all know almost never works. The higher ups, the route planning guys that aren’t actually out on the front lines and plan them out by looking at maps and calculating fuel used. The routes in our area are so tight the DA’s come in 3 hours early to unload their trucks, stack everything so it can be scanned quickly and reloaded. Because if you get stuck waiting at one dock, you’re screwed . And then you have the RSR’s with large format stores throughout the day and no merch help. It shouldn’t be that way. But what do we know. We’re just the guys that bust our asses for you 55+ hours a week.

Exactly the so called Nestle brass couldn't figure anything out every 2 years they made cuts, restructure routes, pay, cut store calls, cut deliveries......

Kraft pizza was sold To nestle because kraft need the money to buy Cadbury. It was not for sale Nestle had the cash needed. Warn Buffet said Kraft Pizza was a Ferrari 308 and the sales of pizza was a mistake..

Kraft pizza didnt fail... it was a cash cow because of how it was structured .

It sold for billions of dollars to get Kraft what they wanted on a global scale, it was also the only thing they could sell that was worth buying . Thats not failure .... what Nestle did to it after is failure

Maybe we should all look for jobs now so the market isn’t flooded with ex Nestle employees in a few months.

Guys the Nestle DSD system has in place has never been cost effective and never will. I came from Kraft and we had zero warehouse workers , zero safety managers ,zero finance people, zero inventory specialist , zero capabilities managers ,zero warehouse managers, zero shuttle drivers, zero delivery drivers, zero merchandisers , zero equipment managers , Zero routing specialist, zero project managers , zero scan base inventory managers , and the list goes on and on . Nestle has no clue how to run a DSD operation or never will picking hundreds of thousands of orders every week . The sales reps barely have time to service their stores yet they are expected to sell in and build displays ha ha . The train has left the station and it all over Tuesday more than likely.

Maybe we’re just going warehouse at Walmart. Walmart is hiring 100’s of drivers. Paying them $90,000 a year.

Hopefully there is a Q & A so I can ask if we will be getting the new tablets before it all goes down.

Nestle selling DSD, just heard a DSL say “we’re f@cked” and left the facility

I think it is safe to say at this point all DSLs know exactly what's going on. But at this point it's also probably every person for themselves.
