So many people I talk to keep telling me they are already looking for a new job - to the point where I am wondering if there is anybody left here who is not actively working on getting out of DST?
Even the new hires are saying the same thing... I guess that tells a lot about where we are at as a company right now...
Can you point us in the direction of a resource that can help a person better their resume?
Maybe you have a case of the negative nancy's or the Debbie downers. The media, economy or even your condo and age are not to blame for the lack of interviews. Sometime's people think there resume is a masterpiece when in actuality its a jig saw puzzle that makes no sense to the average human. Have 3 very different people read it, you may be suprised.
I've been looking since I started working here a year ago. To be honest, I am finding it difficult for the first time in my life to find a new job. I've sent out 100s of resumes, especially to jobs I am qualified for, even out of state, and I've got maybe 5 callbacks and nothing has come about. I've got 3 interviews in 2018 and then told they moved on in another direction. I'm 45. Feeling like no one want to hire someone my age. My life is depressing. I have no future at DST. I am thinking of selling my condo because I don't want to lose what little savings I have if I get laid off.
There are no jobs out there. The media is lying about the economy's health.
