Has anyone confirmed smaller store (less than 60) will be going to day stock or is this another rumor. I'm guessing they would get rid of the 2 overnight asms.

My store was told last night. 3rd shift is going away. 2 support positions mine and the other one are no longer there. We have 60 days to find another position or take a severance pay and quit. Whatever position we take we would take a cut in pay for that position. Such a b---s--- move. I'm fine losing my position but every position I would take would cost me over $2 an hour except a css which there isnt a full time position open for that.
I used to like the 24/7 but my local store has become a very dodgy place in the early morning and I am afraid to go there anymore before sunrise. Everyone knows there is no sheriff attached to the sheriff’s car out front. I guess there is some consolation in knowing Lot Cop will be able to identify my assailant but it won’t do me much good. Even inside the store I got shaken down once. The parking lot is full of people who don’t seem to be shopping. People loitering around the entrance for no obvious reason.
We are under 60 mil. We were just told today we are closing at 1am starting week 14.
Get rid of the ASM's and the 2 supports, and the 12 or so stockers. Just happened to my store today. I was one of the supports. Our SM told us he was letting go of "some ASM's as well", so if you hold that position in a smaller store, I would start looking for positions elsewhere.
But, honestly, I am more worried for the rest of my crew. Where are they going to get moved to? Sad days.
Could Walmart provide some training on cart and pallet positioning? Or are the day stockers intentionality trying to make the aisles impassable?
No its confirmed... at least in region 5 it is.
