Please keep in mind that working for a company is not like being part of a club. You can get outright fired for creating disruption. Your managers are not allowed to convey ANY non-approved narrative. This is not drinking "flavor-aid" this is trying to not get fired for cause.
I honestly don't now what people are looking for here. This is the real world. There's no climactic uprising of the workers against management "story arc". The reality is, everyone not in a C-title are going to keep their head's down and make the best of the situation until they can jump or until they are pushed. A very, very few will be lucky enough to turn into the spin and land in some post-Sears iteration of their current job
This isn't rocket science - Sears is in bankruptcy. Go find another job and stop looking for a Zack Snyder epic climactic conflict. It's not going to happen. You're not living in a story. There is no plot or narrative. The "bad guys" are not going to get their comeuppance, the "good guys" are not going to have their savior moment. People are going to do their jobs, stay under the radar so they're not fired early, thus giving them time to jump and otherwise try to not end up in disastrous financial straits.
Well said @VObuEFz-pdv . I couldn’t agree more
